Interlacing Problem "Solved"
I took a break from the whole interlacing/24p headache but am back to it now. So many places where it could go wrong. Turned out mine was a problem during upload from tape to Adobe Premier. 50% of the original footage was messed up during capture from tape to Premier -- in half the footage, one frame out of every four had interlacing issues. I was so glad it wasn't a problem with the tapes or camera but am not happy about the software problems. I had to upload one tape 3 times and I'm considering doing it a fourth time because I got a "frames were dropped" message from Premier...
